Renaissance Place at Grand
St. Louis, Missouri

Altman Charter constructed the first phase of this $107 million long-term strategy to revitalize the Grand Center Arts & Entertainment District. The project was developed by McCormack Barron Salazar and the St. Louis Housing Authority utilizing a Hope VI and tax credit funding program.

After the four square block area was cleared, it was redeveloped with a mixed-income, intergenerational community consisting of 158 living units in 48 separate buildings. Floor plans include townhouses and apartments, dubbed "garden" units, which range from two to five bedrooms.

The newly developed community was not complete without a community center for the residents to use. The richly appointed lounge and social areas within the facility provide an upscale environment for community functions and events.

The building is equipped with an exercise and weight room, kitchen facilities and a large community pool.
