This new 57,000 SF, three story, 67 unit elderly housing facility was funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development 202 program. Altman-Charter was part of the not-for-profit sponsors development team for this annual federal program. From site acquisition, proposal development, environmental abatement, rezoning, public hearings, storm drainage controls, and community development appeals, Altman-Charter was involved in the entire project delivery process. By providing early price guarantees and monitoring the design and engineering drawings for constructability and conformity to DHUD guidelines, Altman-Charter is able to start construction within less than one year from notice of award.
