This new 57,600 SF, three story, 75 unit elderly housing facility was funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development 202 Program. Altman-Charter was part of the not-for-profit sponsors development team for this annual federal program. By providing early price guarantees and monitoring the design and engineering drawings for constructability and conformity to DHUD guidelines, Altman-Charter was able to start construction within just one year from notice of award. Being built immediately adjacent to other independent and assisted living facilities, allowed the sponsor to utilize management staff and amenities already functional and operational.
