Rooks County was loosing their residents to neighboring counties as they needed an assisted lifestyle. Problem was many never came back to town when they needed nursing care. Their mission is to serve their residents, so they decided to add Assisted Living to their nursing home campus.

Altman-Charter had the expertise to develop their vision of Redbud Estates. A twelve apartment Assisted Living house with a link to their nursing home.

Ten of the apartments are 1-bedroom and two are 2-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a kitchenette with ample cabinet space, private bathrooms and walk-in closets. The common areas included a resident kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor, resident laundry, private meeting room and large front and back porches.
As a part of this project they also added a new commercial kitchen and laundry to serve all the residents of Redbud Village.
